This policy explains how KampungTech (“we”) collects and uses personal data when you use Galeri Kawen. We handle data in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia).
1. Data we collect
Account details (name, email, hashed password); the galleries you create; photos and guestbook messages you and your guests upload; payment receipts and references you submit; and basic usage/log data.
2. How we use it
To provide and operate the Service, process subscriptions and payments, send service emails (verification, receipts, expiry notices), and prevent abuse.
3. Storage & security
Data is stored in our database and file storage. Payment receipts are kept in private storage and are not publicly accessible. We apply reasonable safeguards but no system is perfectly secure.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share it only with processors that help us run the Service (e.g. email delivery, hosting) and where required by law.
5. Retention
We keep data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Deleting your account removes your account and galleries; some records may be retained where legally required.
6. Your rights (PDPA)

7. Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. Optional affiliate tracking, when enabled, uses a referral cookie.
8. Children
The Service is not directed at children under [13/18].
9. Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be notified through the Service or by email.
